HOW TO HARD BOIL EGGS
Perfect easy-to-make appetizer or snack. Here’s how to make them in just three simple steps!

  • Scrambled, over-easy, poached or fried—there’s countless ways to have your eggs. But none are quite so versatile as the hard-boiled version. Hard-boiled eggs are a fantastic snack on their own, not to mention they dazzle as a crowd-pleasing appetizer when used to make traditional Deviled Eggs. Here, we show you how to hard boil eggs in three simple steps.
    1. Place eggs in single layer in 2-quart saucepan. Cover with cold water at least 1 inch above eggs. Cover saucepan and heat to boiling. Immediately remove from heat; let stand covered 15 minutes, then drain. Immediately place eggs in cold water with ice cubes or run cold water over eggs until completely cooled.
    2. To peel, gently tap each egg on counter-top until entire shell is finely crackled. Roll gently between hands to loosen shell.
    3. Starting at large end, peel egg under cold running water to help remove shell.
